Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor - Initial
The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor Course is to provide the potential instructor candidate the ability to teach PALS using the American Heart Association Guidelines.
- You must hold a current AHA PALS Provider card.
- Successfully complete the AHA PALS Essentials Online course (this is a required material during the registration of this course).
- Submit a Letter of Recommendation from a prior instructor or employer.
- Obtain a copy of the current 2015 PALS Instructor Manual (this can be added to your shopping cart during your registration for this course).
There is an additional Training Center Alignment Fee of $30 and the cost of the instructor card is $10. These fees are paid after you are monitored teaching your first class and all of your instructor paperwork is complete and submitted to the ctc.inhs.org website. Instructor certification and your alignment fee are both valid for 2 years.
