Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Course is a comprehensive program consisting of both classroom (didactic), skills lab, clinical (hospital observation) and field (ambulance observation) components. The curriculum follows lesson plans adapted from the State of Washington AEMT Curriculum and the National EMS Education Standard (January 2009).
Please know that enrollment into the AEMT course is a two step process. This process includes registering and minimum payment as well as completion and submission of the course application (to be emailed after registration). Should the applicant complete both of these steps and meet the minimum requirements, they are considered accepted and enrolled in the program.
